I-229 Exit 5 (26th Street) Crossroad Corridor Study
Have you ever been stopped in traffic on 26th Street? Maybe you were waiting for the train to cross 26th Street. This corridor study will look at ways to reduce the traffic congestion on 26th Street and improve the interchange at I-229. Join us as we tackle this challenging and important task.
Project Updates: The Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) is going through a second review and the Interchange Justification Modification Study is going through an initial review by FHWA. The mitigation plan prepared for Rotary & Norlin Park has been approved by the Parks Boards and has been incorporated into the Draft EA. The study team is working hard to respond to comments as we get them to keep things moving. Thanks again for your continued support! – Updated August 12, 2014
